<p>Jesmarie Perez Villa, Food and Beverage Manager at The Strand, discovered her passion for hospitality when she began her career in 2011 as a Server Attendant at the Ritz-Carlton, San Juan Hotel Spa & Casino. Simultaneously, she held a series of roles within the food and beverage division, from Barista to Server to Learning Coach, working her way up the ranks. In 2014, Jesmarie was promoted to Club Lounge Supervisor, during which she achieved outstanding results in both employee and guest satisfaction. She worked hard with her team to offer ritzy food and beverage experiences to those guests who enjoyed their lounge presentations.</p><p>In 2016, she joined the Rooms Division at Ritz-Carlton, Orlando Grande Lakes, overseeing Front Desk, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Pre-arrival areas while having her overall understanding of the full hospitality operation. Jesmarie later moved to sunny Miami in 2018, working with the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, featuring a 685 keys resort, with 2 golf courses and a water park, along with over 140,000 sqft of meeting space where she was promoted to Director of Front Office.</p><p>In October 2020, she was able to develop a new Club Level program for the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles, where she practiced her deepened understanding of the Rooms Division and Food & Beverage together. She worked with the Concierge team and Executive Chef, vendors, and suppliers. Resulting in a successful launch of the Club Level program for owners and residents, one of her many achievements over the years.</p><p>In 2021, Jesmarie fully returned to her Food and Beverage roots to serve as a Food and Beverage Manager at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort where she currently oversees the overall success of the outlets, including The Strand. Her acquire knowledge in hotel operations offers Jesmarie the opportunity to understand, act upon, and surpass guests’ expectations and problem resolution for the benefit of creating memorable Carillon experiences.</p><p>In her career, Jesmarie has been recognized on multiple occasions, nominated for the Gold Standard Award and J. Willard Marriott Award of Excellence, which serves as the highest nominations within the global Marriott organization. Through her career, Jesmarie has received a variety of awards and accolades including Five Star Employee, Supervisor of the Quarter, Supervisor of the Year with the Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association, and most recently Team Carillon Leader of the Year in 2021, to name a few.</p>
